On 9 and 10 November 2019, Esencia arrived in Athens: two performances at the Galatsi Olympic Hall with the full company, forty artists, projections and a major scenic deployment.
The official tourism guide of the Greek capital recommended it as one of the great events of the autumn, and the reception from critics and audiences matched the billing.
Greece thus joined the list of countries captivated by the work: Cortes’s flamenco, once again, needed no translation.
