America in Five Acts: Esencia Tours the United States to the Dolby Theatre

From 1 to 10 December 2023, Esencia completed its first major tour of the United States: Houston, Miami, Chicago, Hollywood and San Jose, with more than thirty artists on stage.

The Los Angeles date had an exceptional setting: the Dolby Theatre in Hollywood, the home of the Oscars. “My return to the United States, my return to America, I receive with great longing and great emotion,” the dancer declared.

The New York Times had written it years before: his zapateado can be a storm, but it never loses its focus. America witnessed it five nights running.
